In this article, you can see a method, how to solve your monitor's auto adjustment problem.
Alanyunk egy Benq TFT vagy LCD (mittudomén) monitor. típusa T903. Ha találkoztál már ezzel a hibával, akkor érdekelhet az oka...
Nálam előjött sajnos. Keresgéltem a neten, de nem találtam semmit, ami megoldotta volna a problémát. Próbáltam újratelepíteni- frissíteni a monitor driver- ét, pihentetni a monitort, buzerálni a windowst- sikertelenül. Azután- mivel a hiba már a monitor használhatóságát kezdte lehetetlenné tenni- szétszedtem, hátha alapon :) Érdemes volt!
The solving of the Auto adjustment problem is demonstrated on an older Benq monitor (Benq T903). I've tried several method- found on the net-, to get rid of this annoying problem- without success.
The methods, I've tried: reinstall driver, change PSU, change the settings of the monitor, change the cables of the monitor, change video card. So, i decided to disassembly the monitor, and i found, what you will see :)
Szétszerelés- Disassembly of the monitor
A szétszedéshez ennél a monitornál semmi spéci szerszám nem kell. Egy PH csavarnyúzó és egy plasztik kártya- bankkártya, személyi pl, de ha ezeket nem akarod elcseszni, akkor sétálj be a Lidl- be vagy az Aldi- ba, és csináltass magadnak egy vásárlói kártyát. Ehhez van az üzletekben kitéve egy kisebb hűtőszekrény méretű doboz, ide bepötyögöd az adataid, és alul kifolyik a kakó :) Bocs, kiadja a kártyát. Ingyenes. Amúgy ez a kártya akkor kell, ha valamit garanciában cseréltetni akarsz a boltban.
There are no special tools needed to disassemble this monitor. Only a PH screw amd a plastic card, what you need. But beware, the plastic card may damage, so don't use your ID or credit card!
Munka előtt az összes kábelt húzzuk ki a monitorból, illetve válasszuk le az elektromos hálózatról!
Először a monitor talpát távolítjuk el. Négy csavar tartja. Kettő itt:
First, Remove all cables- what connetc with plugs- from the monitor. Pull out the power cord from the wall! Risk of electric shock!
Then take off the stand of your monitor. Remove the screws from here:

Akkor most levesszük a burkolatot. Tapasztalataim alapján ezek a fajta monitorok az "előlapba" vannak építve, a hátlap csak burkolat.
Now, remove the back of your monitor.
3 csavar tartja csak a hátlapot.
Here only three screws what we remove: One from the left, one from the right and one from the center of the bottom of the monitor. If you have another monitor, the disassembly procedure may differ.
A csavarok eltávolítása után a kártyánkat óvatosan betolva az előlap és hátlap közé körbevezetjük, hogy a műanyag rögzítő kapcsokat kioldja. Hallhatóak lesznek pattanások, mikor a kapcsok engenek, ettől nem kell megijedni.
Aftre you removed the screws (all screws from the back), pull your plastic card between the top and bottom case (or the front and back case), and move around your card, to open the inner plastic clamps, what holds the case togethet. You will hear some clicks, it is normal.
Ezek után a hátlap és az előlap szétválasztható, mint anno a Vörös tenger :)
If you do everything well, the the front case and the back case can separable, like the Red sea by Moses :)
Itt is van, ami miatt szétszedtük a masinát: Az előlapi kezelőgombok panelja.
Here's the electronic panel with the front switches, that's what we need to repair.
Ezen a panelen meg kell keresni azt a kapcsolót, amelyikkel az auto adjustment- et lehet kapcsolni. Ennél a monitornál ez az "i" feliratú gombocska. Ez okozza a hibát, illetve ennek elhasználódása. Hihetetlen, de így van, rámértem ellenállás vizsgálóval, és abnormális értéket kaptam. Ezek a kapcsolók alaphelyzetben nyitott kontaktúak, thát nem engedhetnek át áramot kis testükön. Megfelelő mennyiségű kosz hatására, illetve elhasználódás hatására mégis átengednek, erre pedig a monitor elektronikája reagál, és beindítja az önbeállítást :)
Now search that switch, what controls the auto adjustment on your monitor. At this monitor, that switch is marked with 'i', on the front. The failure of this micro switch cause the randomly auto adjustmenting. It can be damaged inside, or dirty or simply old, it is not matter.
A megoldás- The solution
A megoldás egyszerű- ki kell cserélni a kapcsolót. Egyszerűen fogjuk, kiforrasztjuk, és beteszünk a helyére egy másikat. Ezzel a hiba el fog hárulni. Persze, ahhoz, hogy ilyen kapcsolt szerezzünk, szét kellett szedni a monitort, hogy tudjuk, milyen is van benne. Ha már kioperáltuk a kapcsolót, elsétálunk vele a legközelebbi elektrós alkatrészboltba, tenyerünkön megmutatjuk a szmüveges, kopaszodó eladó szakinak, és megkérjük, adjon nekünk ilyet egy marékkal, hogy legyen tartalékba is :) A többi kapcsolót nem szükséges kicserélni, de persze lehet :)
The solution is very simple: replace the switch. You need to desolder the bad one first, and then buy a new similar one in your local electronis component shop, or on ebay or on aliexpress, then solder it to the panel. If you cant solder, maybe one of your friends, or your neighbour can do it for you, its not a compicated thing, like processors or ICs. It's only a momentary switch. Important: NOT an on- off switch!
You can replace all of your switces, if you want, but you dont have to. The problem disapperas, when you replace just the one button, what controls the auto adjusting.
